Re: Traded 350Z for G35 Coupe

Same here. Purchased a 2003 350Z Chrome Silver track in October, and just traded it in on a G35 Coupe. My wife has a G35 Sedan so I though I knew what I was expecting. The G35 Coupe is a totally different car than the Z AND sedan. It's almost a perfect mesh of the two. The interior and finish simply blows my 350Z out of the water. I still give the Z higher marks in the exterior deptartment though.

Re: Traded 350Z for G35 Coupe

As I was signing the paperwork for "Baby", there was another guy trading in his Z and picking up his Coupe. The story was that he had ordered the Z early on, and then after he got it, his wife asked him where the grandkids were going to sit.

Well, you know the rest of the story

this may be a stupid question but how do you trade in a car for another car if you just started a lease or loan on the car?

I don't know, you probably want to reply to the person who did that instead of me. Click Reply next to their name above.

That's what so neat about this car. It appeals to GrandPa and Grandson alike

Actaully most people remark that the coupe has the best sounding exhaust note.

Hey GSEDAN, I think you are right about Nissan expecting to sell the 350Z to former Z owners.
But like you found out, the G coupe blows it away.
I've owned a 74/260z,75/280z,280zx(79 and 82) and a 85/300zx, and found the coupe to be far superior to them all.
And this all from only 3 test drives!
Can't wait for the end of March!

BS Sedan for now, DG Coupe end of March

Usually you take one heck of a hit on tradein, but I didn't loose that much money because I've done business with the inifiti dealership before, and the Z's still go for quite a bit whether it has miles on it or not.

I find that the Couple actually has more of a growl than my Z did. I even had the pre-silencer removed on the Z...weird.
