NISMO Twin Turbo! Confirmed!
so why would they sale a twin turbo kit... if they are gonna make a production car with twin turbo on it... i guess if it is nismo then maybe it's different... wouldn't they want people to trade their N/a g's for tt skylines that are coming out in 2007... oh well i'll believe it when i see it

Only time will tell when NISMO is actually in the dealers.

Haha this thread reminds me of a conversation I had with my salesguy:
He told me there was a Nissan 'performance' ECU upgrade availible that would let my car shift at 13,000 RPM. I'm not making this us....
Just because a salesguy or dealership says something doesn't make anything 'confirmed!'
It is kinda ironic that he mentioned it would void the engine warranty. Maybe he knew that at 8,000rpm I would be throwing rods in every direction!

OK... Give me the number of the dealership who is doing this and I will make an appointment next week. Do you have the number? Who is your source? Where did you hear this? Is there a website? Why would you make this post with no back up, not even a link? - Just Curious

Definitely suspicious of that claim. Those RPMs would worry an S2000 owner.

Yeah, you should be suspicious... there is NO way a VQ could rev that high and keeps its internals internal. I was just trying to show that dealerships aren't always right or even well informed.
Your right, dealers do tend to 'spin yarns' once they see you are an enthusiast.
My dealer told me that Stillen is in bed (figure of speech) with the factory and that their upgrades do not jepordize the awesome Infiniti powertrain warranty...
So I called around to several dealers (we have tons in Socal) and all of them confirmed that any form of engine mods have the 'potential to' jepordize the warranty.
