I don't get it

Unfortunately, these are exactly my results as well. It's funny, I have a 01 Pathfinder with the same engine, with about 500 lbs more weight, really heavy tires/wheels, and no aerodynamics to speak of, and I get the same or better mileage! Could it be because it's a manual vs the auto in my G35? Some people are getting radically different mileage than me- I'm wondering if the previous owner didn't follow proper break-in procedures...

i usually get 17...however:
i just replaced my filter with k&n filter, went to the dealer to get coolant flush, they did a recall on my hose/gasket, filled with shell 93 vpower, and now i get 22? any ideas why? my driving habits are the same.

If you want to know what your MPG is exactly, Fill up your tank full and reset your miles. When you came back again to fill up your tank you will see the real mileage. Just divide the miles over 17 gallons. When I did that I got like 310miles 310/17=18.2, I always push my car to the redline everyday, even in the HW I keep my RPM around 5k just to keep it ready to pass cars . try it and tell me what is going on

i get 20 city and 26-28 hwy... look guys stop bitching about fuel economy... you drive a 40,000 dollar sports car... you need to pay to play... another thing guys... the is350 gets the same gas mileage as this car when driven correctly... you drive your car the right way you can get great gas mileage... i dont drive like a granny either...

Gas mileage on our cars is ****. IS350 that will smoke any stock G gets an average of 21-22mpg.

I just hope 07's will have 6-speed auto trannies. With all that torque it makes no sense to have 3200rpm@80mph.
you know... i bet if you drove an is350 your gas mileage would be the same... stop mashing on the throttle all the time... keep your revs below 3000 and you will get great gas mileage

Well you have to divide the miles by the actual gallons that are pumped into the tank. Do you always take exactly 17 gallons?
