MREV > jenna jameson.

well.. maybe not. BUT.. let me just say. WOW!!

at first i was debating the MREV Iso, but i was acting like a chick and couldn't make up my mind. then i said, *** it, if its no good i can sell it. *in my best Joey Lawrence* WHHOOAAHH! Im keepin' this bad boy. this is THE mod that opens up your car! the short ram was nice.. but this is stupid!
what i noticed mostly was a new note, not so much of a lower exhaust note, but more of a amore agressive "growl". sounds VERY nice. and most importantly, the torque difference is nasty! even at 3k RPMs its picks up much more than before. im not saying that at 3k its going to break your neck, but it is way better than stock. however, at 4.5-5 k.. is just funny! i took my bro for a ride and all he could say is.."youre going to die in this car!"

if you are debating this mod, remove your thumb, and get on it!! easy install, 50 minutes. taking my time and being thorough.... or as my wife calls it '****'. .. so i hit her with a book.

he was figuratively saying that he would take the MREV over Jenna Jameson any day, just to let everyone know that the MREV is pretty damn good if you'd pick it over the fine azz Jenna.

MREV is for 05 and up 6MT, right? I heard there is a slight loss of power (compared to stock) when approaching redline. Can you confirm this? I love taking my car to 7000 rpm. With the MREV, do you find that you have to shift sooner to avoid a drop-off in power? Or do you still redline it?

I rarely go into the "Red." When "On It," I fine that shifts at around 6.5k with MREV is best . . . At least for me it is.

Regardless of the redline set at 7100 plus RPM's on the Rev-up engine, There is no reason to rev it to that when, Max HP & torque are made at 6300 rpm's. Shift points should be about 6500 rpms for maximum accelerating. Drivability and torque is what win races, The M-Rev is one of the best bang for the buck mods you can do. Tony is the Man" with his Mod's

i hear what your saying, but one thing i have noticed.. with the MREV, more power = less time in each gear essentially. with that in mind, its almost not a bad idea to tach it out. remember, the higher you keep your revs, the higher in the power band that you start your next gear. the "momentum" method only works if you tear though that gear. if you take it slow at first, i believe that youll find yourself wasting time by taching it out. ..IMO

I can think of a couple of races I would have lost if I would have driven like you recommend. 7000 rpm is perfect. Shifting a 7 grand puts you in the sweet spot for the next gear.

Anyone have a link to dyno results for the MREV? I know I've seen it somewhere.

I have on '04, so the MREV doesn't do me any good. Come on over, Jenna!

they already tested the mrev to work and post gains on the nonrevup engine. motordyne posted about it here and on my350z forums.

The sweet spot is much lower than you think, You may need to work on your driving style. Over driving your engine is wasted motion.
