Now, i just have a question. Is Stick shift really that hard to drive? I tried b4, and it was not fun on hill. Maybe i didn't have enough practice. Anyway...i will know if the G will be total or not in 2 days.
If you're worrying about driving a stick on a hill, maybe you want to at least try out the new E90 330 with the hill-start assist.

WTF happen Ken? thought your G is almost fixed and NOW they might totaled? should they know if they gonna totaled two months ago? with all this wait would've drive me insane...

Suck up and get yourself a M3 althou might be to late to order new one, but you can certainly find one that are gently used 05 for 48~50k maybe less...GOOD LUCK man hope it works out for you SOON.

First of all, if possible, wait to see what the 07 G35 has to offer after the NY Auto show. Next, definitely test drive the IS350, 330i/xi/c, wrx sti and maybe the MB C350.

I've test-driven all of these except the sti and heres my opinion:

IS350: Best interior in it's class, FAST, sport edition has best handling, expensive in it's class, limited supply depending on location, sweet paddle shifters, good sound system. Mark Levinson kickass audio package available.

330i: Sweet body styling, plain interior, GREAT handling, Good power w/ lots of low-end torque, NO disc changer!! BMW pays for all maintenances.

G35: Sweet body styling, good handling & fast, very plain interior IMHO, cheaper than IS & BMW. Crappy BOSE.

C350 Sport: Outdated interior, Relatively fast for it's class, Cool exterior styling. Not my favorite in this class...

Its going to come down to which of these you like best, so get to know each of them before making a decision.

I test drove the new saab 9-3 aero with the turbo v6, the car drives pretty sweet and looks sexy as hell!

The interior's real nice the seats are really comfy too and it had some good speed not to mention a fully loaded 9-3 goes for about 36-38k.

The lexus Is350 is nice but you get no features compared to the saab.... 40 grand and no HIDS??? and that back seat is a joke!!

consider resale value too bro, you won't have a problem with bmw or lexus but i've noticed some mbs saabs and audis take a nose dive

depends where you live..if you get snow..
A4 3.2 Quattro or a Subaru Legacy GT 3.0R or XT
The audi has a nice interior and drives pretty well but the Subie seems to be a sportier car and the Audi is aging even with the new updated exterior.
If you dont get snow or anything like that
BMW 330i, another Gcoupe, or maybe an RX-8?

okay...my car is offically totaled. The cost to fix is $38k...yea...i don't even know why it's taht expensive.

Now, i guess it's down to which one gives me the best price. S2k, G35c, 350z, STi, IS350
