If you got a kid on the way I wouldnt suggest the G35c as your only means of transport. The look Great but try to fit a car seat stroller playpen and all the other thing you need to take with you and its a tight fit. you might want to look at something of the hatchback variety or a used SUV.

Trust me.......the kid may be small but they come with alot of baggage.

Good luck with the new kid and your car search.

Agreed here.

Fully agreed. I just read your initial thread and you didn't mention a kid on the way. Then I scrolled further down and read it.
You're going to have to wait for a while for a G. Your kid has top priority.

Not sure if ALL Nissan dealerships do this. But the local Nissan dealership also services Infiniti's. Prices on major services are of course a little cheaper. Mainly because you don't get the perks like a free rental or the name brand "Infiniti" service. But in the end, both Nissan and Infiniti use the same parts and materials. Just a thought...

I'm just saying that cars are a heavily depreciating asset and not worth spending more than 20% of your income on (theoretically, the rule of thumb). However, I do understand that most of us are enthusiasts and may break that rule by a couple percentages

Personally, I waited till my finances settled out and I could afford good things. I think it was a really smart decision for me as I was able to attend a good graduate school and didn't have to worry about any payments on anything. But its a personal decision however, if I were having a kid, the g-coupe would be the last thing on my mind.

Start saving for your kid's education and a home. The birth of a child changes everything. You have a new set of priorities, now. I trust everything goes well with the birth of your new baby.

I'm 27 and make slightly more, mainly cuz I put 10% of my salary into my 401K, and I drive one. Then again, I don't have a kid coming up. But, I do have school loans to take care of and I've been helping out my sister w/ her car/insurance...long story . Thank god my cousin owns the apt duplex I live in. And a lil help from the mother .

Although everyone here has some good pts, which I'm considering right now. The irony is I don't even drive it often. It sits in the garage!

Selling my G has crossed my mind the past couple of weeks . And this thread has just made the decision even harder!
