Engine cut off

Okay this freaked me out! I was going up an incline in 3rd gear at probably 4k RPMS this morning. On the decline of the hill, I noticed my BRAKE light was lit up on the dash. I think uh oh, maybe I didn't put the parking brake down all the way. Nope, it's down. Then I notice all the other lights are on! My car cut off! Has anyone else had this happen? My gas tank is full so I really have no idea other than maybe going over the bridge a little fast caused it to shift to the back of the tank and the inlet is on the front? Any ideas or similar occurences would really help. Thanks.

Do you have an aftermarket intake? Bad cold air intakes will make the engine cut off...

I have a K&N panel and a Z Tube. I also took off the Power Duct. Maybe that's it. It was really weird though. But no check engine light or anything. When I used to go over the same bridge in my Maxima, it would start to choke if it was low on gas if I was getting after it a little. I hope this isn't something that starts happening frequently!

I highly doubt it was the gas. It could be the power duct. The power duct helps to channel more air to the intake; I would leave it in. Infiniti engineers didn't add the power duct for show. If there is anything wrong with intake it will cause the engine to cut out during periods of higher stress.
