I have a ton of stock dynos from my car and other rev up engines that back my statement up. So yes, he did not gain any power PEAK. That is why I would like to see the mid-range stock dyno of his car.

Meh

They just clipped a WB sensor to the exhaust tip.

It's meaningless there and should be ignored.

You are assuming that the conditions in which he ran are the same as yours though. Perhaps he didn't have a huge fan blowing into his intake. Not all dynos read the same...even from the same manufacturers.

Basically, his dyno is worthless in trying to determine the value of his mods. Its only useful for a ball park hp range.

You have stock dynos from your car. YOUR car. Not his. You have absolutely no proof of what these mods have done for his car. Not even HE has any proof of what the mods did for him, due to lack of a baseline dyno, other than his own observations (IE butt dyno, which is a terrible way to make a measurement).

Love,
Keaka

Like I said, I have many and I mean many dynos from many 05+ REV engine cars and they all show where his is bone stock. -+ 5 hp / TQ but that is the most change I see. That is enough proof to show that those mods did really nothing to improve. Now this is PEAK hp/tq. I am wondering if he gained or lost midrange power. I know the Injen shows a loss of power same for the exhaust in some cases. I have proof that Injen CAI lose power.

Btw, you have a lot to learn about OUR cars since you are very new here. A few others and me have done many tests and have enough doucmentation to know what works and what doesn't. Learn from us.

I think my stock cats block all the hp that I should gain, I’m selling my injen ses soon, and I will buy HKS and stillen test pips. And i will see the different. But I have to say it Injen did good work for me, the reason why i'm selling the injen exhaust cause i want a titanium exhaust that's it.

Really? How come this thread you posted in shows 227hp, 205 tq? https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ght=stock+dyno ? What happened to -+5 from this guys' dyno?

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ght=stock+dyno - this thread shows a stock dyno with 242hp...

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ght=stock+dyno - heres one with 261 hp, 222 tq...

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ght=stock+dyno - Heres a good one. Same guy, dynos 245, then 238 in "dynojet simulation mode"...He then goes to a mustang dyno and blasts out @ 212hp and 186tq...

Do you still stand by your statement that you never see more that +-5 hp difference between stock dynos? Its kind of sad that you judge my knowledge of cars by the amount of posts that I make on a forum...

So, as I was saying, Im not denying OR confirming your statement that he didn't gain any PEAK power from his mods. I merely said that a blanket statement saying that he indeed didn't gain anything is baseless without seeing a stock baseline dyno. An after-mod dyno without a baseline is pointless.

As a matter of fact, I'm inclined to agree that he hasnt gained much in the way of peak power with the mods he indicated. Just saying that we have no evidence to show either way.

First one is the one we are discussing. lol

Second one is not a Dynojet but a Mustang Dyno

Third one is a DynoPack which dyno much higher.

Yes I still stand by my statement since I have DYNOJET Dynos. Not others like you posted. Seems your not paying much attention here and just spewing bs.

So quit wasting everyones time.

Actually man, all you said was " I have many and I mean many dynos from many 05+ REV engine cars and they all show where his is bone stock. -+ 5 hp / TQ but that is the most change I see."

Where in that statement did you ever mention that it was specific to Dynojet? And if you look back earlier in my posts, I did mention that one of the variables to different dyno numbers is the type of dyno as well as the calibration of the particular dyno. Im paying plenty of attention to the details of everything you've said, it is you who are not being specific and throwing baseless nonsense at someone.

I have no doubt you know plenty about these cars, but I am also sure that your statement was still poor. Get off your high horse and just admit at very least that you could have used more appropriate phrasing.

You could have said, "Based on my experience with Dynojet dynos as well as stock REVUP engines' typical performance, theres a very high chance that as far as peak power is concerned, you have probably gained very little power. Please try and provide baseline dyno information so we can determine whether you may have picked up some power in the meat of your power curve."

If you would have said anything even somewhat similar to that, this conversation would be totally avoided.
