That was speculated, but never confirmed.

So if they are keeping the 3.5 liter...does that mean they have some how tuned it to generate more power?

Or are they simply not touching the engine, and investing the money into the interior and exterior?

Time will tell us, I guess...

I hope it can handel what BMW throws at them ,cuz I heard Bmw is coming out with a Inline 6 twin turbo at 300HP+ for there 3series and the new M3 will be in the 400Hp+. I hope they didn't aim for the lexus IS350,cuz that's lame
(IS is a good car, but its for status not for gearheads). "PLS NO MOre NA" "WE need Turbo cars" Well i need a turbo car and pls dont tell me i can put Aftermarket turbo, no more na to turbo crap.

I am thinking Direct Injection + intake/exhaust tunning + more refined cams = bigger power, say 310-320 tops from the 3.5L or a new 3.7L V6. Either way i hope Infiniti keeps the unique styling we have all come to love!

It looks good but I am very dissappointed that it doesn't have the same exhaust tips as the G35 Coupe (and I doubt the sound too). If that indeed is the 2007 G35 sedan, then I'll still choose the 2006 Coupe over it.

whelp there goes the value of my g35... kiss my 27k that my car is still worth at the dealer goodbye... forget about private party even... 30k private party is now gone...

as soon as the 2007 hits the market... there will be an excess of current g35's being sold and traded in and values will plummet... i guess im going to be keeping this car for a while now
