I am debating getting an 06 Coupe and supercharging. Is it worth it or should I concentrate on trying to find one second-hand? Your first thought may be, "If you have the money, go for the new." Basically, I could get the 06 and probably still eat, but if I can save $10K, I'd like to unless there's a really good reason to get the 06.

BTW, I was going to wait for the 07, but sounds like that's wayyy far off.

I you are getting an automatic then you can put a stillen supercharger on an 06. If you are interested in a manual then you need to get and 04 or earlier. 05-06 manual transmission superchargers and turbos are not available yet.

 

i am w/ second-hand unless you dont mind spending extra 10k.

 

I am looking for auto trans so I could go for the Stillen at the very least. Does Vortech make a supercharger for the 06?

 

Sometimes you get lucky by contacting the manufacture and they sell
reconditioned chargers. I know of at least 3 of my buds who went down
that road.
