Re: Hello everyone, from RS-R!
kojirsr,
hey, are you guys located somewhere in anaheim? I remember i let you guys use my car for the exhaust fitting. Road Race told me that you guys need an Eclipse so that you can test your exhaust and my car was the one that was test on. Anyway, that was a awhile back ago.
Regardless, welcome to this forum. So any new toys for our car?

Re: Hello everyone, from RS-R!
I've always been a fan of RS*R products ever since I got an exhaust for my 99 Si back in 99. Quiet, deep tone and high quality stainless steel.
Any chance of sponsorship for my Diamond Graphite 6MT?
I always attend the local import/drift events here in S Cali. I know you already have Steve's G35, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I am the fellow that called the other day and asked you guys why the posted spring rate specs for the 350Z application are within 2lbs front and rear of the stock rates. It was understandabley explained to me that the rates shown are most likely correct, but when time allowed someone would contact a tech in Japan as a follow up.
The concern I have in speaking to you folks is concerning your developement work on the coupe spring application. The coupe uses that exact same spring rates as the 350Z, but the strut valving is different, with the Z getting allot more compression dampening. I was told that your thinking of using different rates for the coupe, vs the Z application, my concern is that Nissan didn't do that, why would you go that route when Nissan did not? Eibach went different on the Z vs the coupe, but not it a good way IMO. I'm just hoping for better thinking from your R&D staff, if I may be so bold.
BTW, thank you for taking the time to register here and post. Not many manufactuers take the time and effort to do that, and I really appreciate that.

Re: Hello everyone, from RS-R!
Hey Jedi...
No dynos yet...I'm trying to get one scheduled for this weekend...It sucks since I already have the RS*R on...and what a pain it'll be to put my stock on, dyno, then put the rs*r back on and dyno....but we'll see.
It's not a true dual..., you can see in the pic where the pipes split off to the mufflers.
The piping is Ceramic coated 409 stainless steel, and the muffler is a fully polished 304 stainless steel straight through design.
As for sound clips...I need to call a buddy over to help me out this weekend for that one...so I'll try and get you some.

Re: Hello everyone, from RS-R!
thank you everyone for your comments and questions. I have mailed japan for their most current dyno graph regarding the G35. This system is a dual system. If you mean running two pipes from the engine, then it is not a dual system in that respect. The mufflers are made from 304 steel and the pipes are made from 409 steel. This exhaust is hand made in Japan.
thanks everyone. if i didnt answer you questions, please let me know!
