Ok, so this sucks. So I left my car at the shop today to get headers and pulleys put in. I was excited as hell going to pick it up, looking forward to feeling the difference. First problem: not really a problem, but they didn't have time to put the pulleys in, but they did het the headers done. No big deal. Second problem, one of the guys forgot to hook the altenator back up to the battery, so when they test it out after instalation, they drained the battery. So they hook it up, and jump me so i can get home to charge the battery back up. But with the new airflow, the cars computer was just going nuts with the idle. So when I get home,I reset the ecu and it seems that the idle ok. But the battery still wont charge up, and the computer is still going crazy. when I jump it and drive it, it does ok for a while, but when i do something like turn on my high beams, all the check lights go off and the car starts to kick in and out of gear. I have to let roll in neutral until the check lights go off, then it works again. And if I leave it in park, it dies after a few minutes, but if I leave it with the battery hooked up to another car, it stays on. I dont know what going on. Im taking it back hopefully tomorrow so hopefully they can fix it. On a better note, when the car did work fine, the headers worked nice. The sound was deeper and louder, and the car pulled quite a bit harder. Still, thats no good if it doesnt work now.
