So i'm looking to get lambo doors on my 04 G35C, i've seen multiple kits out there, but like most car components they are all the best in their own special way. I want the best on this car and i am willing to spend so i was wondering if you guys know the better kits/stores to get this done.

Go to Barned & Noble or Borders and pick up a "DSpeed" magazine. I was just there flipping through it and there's a products section with a lambo door kit in there that has been crash tested and everything. Sorry I can't remember the name of the manufacturer.

 

Honestly why lambo door on a G, yeah I know there is the wow factor but to me that is so not worth the money nor does it look good. Leave the lambo door to the real lambo. Instead of spending the money for it get something else. Mrev, nice audio sub and amp etc

Just my 2 cent. But is your car if you really want it that bad I say get the good reputation ones and not some cheap knock offs

 

LSD ring any bells? thats the only kit i've looked through that was crash tested. as for the lambo doors, the g has some pretty long doors and the areas i have to park daily are tight, and yes, sexy to me.

 

Not a super fan of the doors but that sound system in the trunk is sick.....

 

Couldn't tell ya'. I just remember it was tested on a yellow 350z, and after the crash test the doors still opened. That's about the extent of my lambo style door hinge expertise.

I have the vertical doors kit, fits perfect and looks great...ive had them on for about 6 months, im considering selling my car so im taking them off, if anyone is interested, im trying to sell the hinges and everything with them.

 

thanks for the input guys, i've read up on all of these kits and i know there are some other kits that i have heard work just that much better. Does the GT have air pumps?

 

yes it has air pumps, i am told you need to upgrade to 60lbs as g35 doors are heavy.
