I have mixed tire too, and experience the same problem. I had snows on the rear and oem pilots in the front. I coudn't even handle the slightest curve. I took it to the dealership and they said the different tires.

I will have 4 snows this year, so I hope it fixes the problem with my winter wheels.

I have a set of 4 PS2's... they needed some "break-in" time before they started to grip. The first couple of weeks I thought I made a bad decision in getting them, but they have worn in as expected (good). just my $0.02 BTW, these are 255/30/20 and 285/30/20.

I'm hoping he had a 19% and some other minor mods done to have kept up with you, but that was a fairly poor performance on your part.
.
He did say he had 1.5 car lenghts on cooper before the turn.
As too suspension and handling... the cooper is made by BMW as far as I know, and noone touches BMW on suspension and handling.

The supercharged Mini was beat already, but when I hit the curve the car swivle a little so I slowed down and cut off the race. The VCD was on all the time. The transition to the curve was good. Maybe I was on the inside lane, making my turn radius smaller. The rear tires probably have 150 miles on it. I just replaced them last week. You are right, it probably need more time to break in. Either way, my front tires need to be replace ASAP.

Let this be a lesson for mixing tires and not breaking in the tires. Thank you all for you concern.

Culi - Just got Pilot Sport A/S on wife's 05 6mt. (245/35/19 & 275/35/19) Hope more miles will increase grip! Worried the SLIP lamp will burn out it's on so often.

I dont think it was the tires.. our cars just understeer or push really bad into the corners.... were your front tires squeeling at all?? If they were then u were pushing the limits of the G on that corner..

How much did you paid for those tires? I didn't know you can put 245/35/19 in the front. How does it look compare to the OEM 225/40/19?

It didn't squeal at all. I didn't push the G into the corner. I don't want to wreck it at 110 mph, or at any speed. I've learn my lesson. My front tires has 16,500 miles on it now, and it is OEM potenza. I'm kinda surprise it lasted this long.
