I currently have a Nismo exhaust. Will HF cats make the car sound raspy at all?? I love the sound of the Nismo, i just want it to be a littler deeper/louder. key things to keep in mind are i don't want the raspy sound nor droning from inside the car while cruising. i've done many searchs on this, and each post doesn't really answer my questions. Thanks!

 

idk about HF cats with nismo, but i just installed it with shock exhaust, and i absolutely love it. i had a small rattling problem at first, but i re-installed them, and now all i hear is my exhaust! little louder, and noticably deeper. it did rasp the very first minutes after starting it up, but thats gone.

 

My cats made my Injen sound a little raspy from a distance.

I dont think cats will make a drone

I have Crawford Headers, Crawford Cats and an Invidia G200 Exhaust, absolutely no rasp. Deep quite sound at idle. It really bellows at Hi-Revs.
