rims for a lease?

im currently leasing a 06 g35 coupe AT for 3 years. at the end of the 3 years i will most likely return it and get a newer car.

before i leased the car i was already thinking about getting rims so i got my car without sports suspension and without the bigger wheels that infiniti offers. upon getting my car, ive looked more into rims and to get some nice ones it will cost 4k, which might not be worth it based upon my short lease life.

4k would have included
2 - 19x9.5
2 - 19x10.5
4 nice tires
springs
install cost

what do you guys think?

im giving my car back in a year and i spent 3000 on rims. you can sell the rims after or if it fits on your next car put it on the next car.

get rims but its not worth messing with the suspension in my opinion........jst make sure to keep your stockers and chances are that the rims wont fit your nxt car so jst sell them to make some money back

this is exactly what i did and then got my wheels. i think 4k is too much for a set. i got my wheels off ebay and ordered my tires from tirerack. total cost is well below 2k. wheels are awesome too.

You know, you could always sell the rims and springs when you ready to return the lease.

our cars hold their value really well. I'm on a lease, and i did body kit and wheels and tints and all that. I plan on doign a twin turbo set up also. that or an engine swap.... you say im crazy... well i did a 5 year lease... im a year into it with only 5k miles.. at the end of the lease estimated value of the car is aroudn 21k according to edmunds. My buy out is 13k... i can sell and it put the down payment on a new car, or just keep it and finance the the 13k or just pay it off. thats what i like about our cars, with a lease we can pretty much get the same deal as other people who finance their cars....
