Gas is not free!!!! At my dealership it's either pay $6 or bring the car with the same amount of gas.

It's 7 in LA, regardless of gas.

It's a small price to pay for the convenience of dropping off and picking up so fast. Not to mention loaner rapage is always fun.

When i first brought in my car for service, I asked about the 5 bucks. Lady said my insurance does not cover loaner gas so I pay 5 bux...whatever 5 bux for all the gas in the tank sounds good to me, its not like I go get serviced every week.

That's wierd. Never heard of this. I had my 7500 mile service done (it was free, nice of them ), alignment checked, sunroof oiled down (TSB), etc. and they didn't charge for the car.

I've never been charged, but I've been told it was $5. My service reps have always been really nice and normally say "I won't charge you for the loaner."

At my dealer they don't charge you unless you return it with less gas. Then they hit you with a fee that varies on the gas you used...

Nothing is ever free. If you don't have to pay, then the cost is recouped in the price of the service.

Okay,

There is not a seperate charge for the use of a loaner car at North Houston Infiniti.

Mine's always been free at Mission Viejo Infiniti. Just bring it back with same amount of gas. Not sure if its because I bought the car there.
