Richmond Infinity charges $10 (Can.) to cover the cost of the gas. You don't go far on $10.

Lokey asks you to bring the car back with the same amount of gas that it had when you drove it away. That sounds fair to me, so I do it.

Yeah, it took less then a day. I took it in at 1 pm. I had the alignment checked along with the sunroff TSB and the seat sqeeeking (although they said they couldn't replicate it and ran out of time so told me to bring it back on my next oil change, seems fair as it wasn't that bad). They gave me the loaner, drove around town shopping, got something to eat, and went home and took a nap. They called just before 6 (their closing time) and asked if I could make it before 6:30 (since the service guy will be there an extra 30 minutes to take care of some stuff). So, I came back and all is fine. No charge for the gas (they didn't even look).

Also, I asked if there would be a loaner before I took it in for just the 7500 miles and they said "of course". I said that's good because I wouldn't want to wait around, and she replied "Yeah, we wouldn't make you sit around for a couple of hours". So, I'm not sure if they were being nice or what, but I'm going back there if they give me a loaner again for anything that takes more than 2 hours

Just an update. I went back to Infiniti of South Bay (Torrance, CA) and had them take a look at why my chair is making that creaking sound. Turns out, there isn't really anything to tighten or lube so they need to replace the chair rail. They had to order the parts since this isn't something that they normally stock and to come back so they can do the work later. Anyways, they gave me a loaner (red 2005 sedan AT) and no charge for gas or the car. I had it for about 2 hours. I guess it makes it not much of a hassle to have things fix if they give you a loaner for pretty much any work that has to be done. So, I guess the answer is yes to no charge for gas.

I haven't been charged for my loaner so far (knock on wood) at the Valencia Dealership. I just had my 18,000 service for my ride.

Hell, my dealer gives me the car he gets from them, so I fill it back up anyways since it's a nice gesture on his behalf.
I wish they'd give him a s/c'd stillen G, or m45, but hey, G sedan fully loaded is better than kia!
