Yeah well you got the 6mt.

Its quite a bit harder with the AT, if its with a good driver... This guy over-reved once but damn he was quick

Gearing in the AT is not an advantage, it's actually a slight disadvantage. It's not really a drivers race from the perspective of the driver of the Auto(I'm not saying that the race won't be close, just that it's only a drivers race to the driver of the MT, because he's the one with the potential to drive really good or really bad), unless the AT cars driver were to massively spin the wheels off the line or had poor reaction times to the race start. The driver of the manual transmission will have a greater chance of spinning his wheels off the line because of the fact that he has to rev his engine before engaging the clutch, has less parasitic drivetrain loss due to the more simplistic transmission, and he also has a lower first gear than the AT version(meaning it's easier to spin them in first gear), as well as dealing with the clutchwork and gear-shifter manipulation between every gear change as well as manipulating the throttle and also picking proper shift points..

Here are 2 links that I threw together which will show what each car does in each gear as far as speed and RPM's, based on the 2004 MT and AT model specs and assuming both have the same tire size of 245-45-18:
