I had a big spot of sap or something on my fender last week and it did not come off with regular washing. I then used a bug, tar, and tree sap remover and it would not remove all of it. I then clay-barred it which got all but a couple little spots of it off. I then appled some Zaino Z5 on it and it disappeared. It had me worried though. I was ready to put out a distress call for our detailing Guru Picus112 up here in the GWN for help.

I use a bug off product. Just spray, let set about a min then hose off safe for clear coat and no rubbing at all. Can't think of name right now but several
different brands available.

I would use a clar bar to remove it. Don't use simple green if you wax as simple green is a degreaser and will remove the wax. I've heard that the Tarminator is good stuff too.
