sorry to move on to a new topic, but can anyone explain the difference between the valet key and the master key?

The valet key is the same as the master key EXCEPT that it cannot open a locked glovebox. It is used to prevent valets from snooping around your glovebox and trunk (which is activated by the switch inside your glovebox).
