GYAL8R,

The dealer said that the car has about 100 miles on it and he would have to drive it to his showrom which is an additional 45 miles.

So i asked him to put the deal on hold coz that sounded like a bit too much to me.

Everyone,

Thanks for the responses. It looks like most people got thier G under 50 miles.

Mine had 18 miles on it. If they're going to sell you a car with 150 miles as "new", then they better give you a good deal on the price or at least some extra freebies. I wouldn't accept a new car with 150 miles on it, if I only got an OK deal with the price. BTW, I did buy a "new" car (not a g35) with 150 miles on it before but I got a hell of a deal on the price. It was the last one on the lot and they were just giving it away.

for me, anything more than 10 is too much... to buy at least.

Mine had 18 miles on it, but the first car they tried to sell off to me as "new" and it had over 200 miles on it. I realized that it was the car they had me test drive the night before cuz I remembered the slight scratches on the bumpers and scuff marks near the foot area by the door! They even said that new cars sometimes have over 100 miles on it for transportation and such... bull-sheeeiiittt!

After I confronted them about it, the said, "Oh yeah, I guess we do have a new car back there.... " and try to play it off as if they made a mistake by getting the used test-drive car as a new car!

The average person probably wouldn't have noticed...

Biotches!!!!

unless there is some cosmetic issue- i wouldn't worry about it. if folks here are concerned about the break in- a more aggresive break in (test drivers hopping on it) will have done you a favor. this is the way i've broken in the 4 cars prior to my g and most recently my g of course and a new cayenne- all with excellent results. engine mechanics a+ each time with zero repairs. just make sure you give it a oil & filter change right away and take a look here for more info.

11miles under the clock for my ride. I was even skeptical before I drove it off the lot. But I guess it's not too bad after all.
