S4 Vs. G35

Hi, and I'm, new. Sorry if this is redundant. Decision today - Audi S4 (6spd, nogaro, 40K miles) at the end of the lease, buy out or a new G35 coupe? Not as easy as you might think. But, the reason I'm here is because the G35 was the decsion. Tough, though.

Re: S4 Vs. G35

Everyone I know with an A4 or S4 have complained about having some kind of problem or another, and the one thing they all seem to talk about is the crappy service they get from Audi.

Sorry - no problems, and great service for me - Hoehn Audi - Carlsbad, CA. Doesn't mean that I'm not excited about the G35, though.

Re: S4 Vs. G35

I like the S4 and have raced one.
I beat him and he beat me after racing a few times.
but his was abit modded from what I could tell.
Its a quick car.
BUT the only thing is, it looks not to far off from a a4 and a older one at that !!

For the money I would get a brand new car, with the warranty etc.

Re: S4 Vs. G35

Yeah the older S4s are nothing special...kinda nice, and cool if you want the "sleeper" effect, but the Gs are comparablespeedwise, handle better, and look like a million bucks.

Your service experiences may be the difference between leasing and owning, or maybe not. I'd get the opinions of other Audi owners first if I were you. There's a reason why Audi's ranked so low when it comes to service.

All that aside, how much do you think you will miss AWD? I know that I, for one, won't be driving my car up to the mountains to go snowboarding.

Plus, how often do you carry around 4 people? It's handy having 4 doors. It's a pain in the *** having someone get out from the driver's side in the G35 coupe since it doesn't have memory seats.

Other than that, I guess you'd have to ask yourself what you think you would gain vs. what you would lose by switching.
