I am old (27)

Paid $36,800 including tax (black 05 AT, premium, sport, aero package) in bank check.

I can't stand paying interest on top of an expensive car.

Quote: i got a lease last year for an 05 with $399/mo for 39 mos with 'just sign and drive' from a MA dealer. I drove 3 hours to pick it up from CT. ah, the beauty of internet and excellent credit score. have you guys checked www.leasetrader.com and www.swapalease.com. you'll be amazed how much car you can drive for an $400 or a $755/mo payment.
so to all young drivers out there, take care of your credit as it will reward you down the road. i'm 34 but i've taken my credit history/score as a religion since i got my first credit card. no single negative spot whatsover.

Great website, thanks.

It would cost me around $40k total in 5 years time.

How did I got that deal? what I did was called 5 dealerships around my area. Tell them exactly the packages I want. Who ever give me the best deal will get my business. (putting $200 credit card downpayment over the phone)
