Clicking noise when making right hand turns.

My 03 G35 coupe has developed a ticking/clicking noise when making sharp right hand turns and sometimes when slowing down to a stop. The only thing I have done recently is change my brembo pads, which I have done several time with no problems...Could it be the cv joint? Is it something to be worried about? What can i check?

could be your brakes, your cv joint (should mostly make the noises during turning from my past experience), or in my case, i hear a clicking with occassional popping noises. Ended being my compression rod. Fixed under warranty.

You would probably need to go into more details. check the brakes for debris, if you can isolate the noise and what situations they occur/ don't occur, then you'll probably be able to get more help.

In my case, it was usually at slow speeds, near or full lock turns, forward and reverse, coming from only the front right side, clicking and popping noises, and can also be heard when going over a speed bump at slow to moderate speeds. Same for right or left steers, but more prominent when full left lock turn at slow speeds. If it sounds like yours, then ask the dealer to check the compression rod.

Umm.... Unless you have a G35x you don't have CV joints.... CV joints are for front wheel drive cars if I am not mistaken.
