now i remember why i love my g

so maybe two weeks ago, I was our with a freind when he noticed that i had two holes in the side of my car. It looked like someone had taken a pellet gun to it. Man I was pissed. Now, before that, i had been keyed twice and got hit with sheet metal that came off a truck. So i finally decided to get all the scratches fixed. I was pretty excited to get my car lookin clean again. So i put my car in the shop last tuesday and for the last week ive either been hitching rides or driving my sisters car. Now my sisters car is an 04 vw beetle. god do i hate that car. bright green convertable, lets just say that i feel awkward driving it. But today when I got my car back, it felt amazing. I had forgotten what it was like to really step on the gas and hit 90 no problem. the beetle struggled to get to sixty. and the car is beautiful. i had almost lost sight of how pretty the g35 coupe really is. so yeah, i guess what im saying is that i am so glad to have my baby back.

Yeah, having your car back after driving a crappy car always feels good. It's almost like falling in love all over again, isn't it? Congrats on getting your G looking all clean again.

I'm with you. Lost my car for a month due to a paint issue. Had a decent rental...'06 Explorer w/ 500 miles, but still hated every minute of it.

I find it offensive that you ever fell out of love with your G.

I had the same feeling getting my 03 Coupe back after having a dealership loaner for a week, and the loaner was an 06 G35 sedan! That expericence made me happy with choosing the coupe and pretty well cemented the fact I will never ever ever ever buy the sedan.

We are spoiled brats, aren't we?

I know what you mean. I will see my G on friday night--after a long 4 months out of the country. I miss her. You're lucky she was only getting touched up for a couple of weeks or so only.
