What is it about our coupes?
Driving home from school the other day i needed to merge into a street. This guy in a fake FX35 (the nissan one, dont know what it is called) flew by me going like 60 in a 35. So i decide to catch up. I was already in first gear and decided to make it as if i was already racing. The guy was about 7 cars ahead of me. While he passes me, he waves like he beat me. THAT GOT ME PISSED. SO i get him at the light. HE revs and revs, i dont do anything. I just sit there and turn off my VDC.
Behind me comes a audi TT coupe, the one with the duel exhast i think it has like 245 hp and is turbocharged. Well anyways, the light turns green i wait and give the guy a 3 car head start. Lets just say i was doing the waving as i passed fake FX35. But behind me is the TT. We come up to a red light. He revs, its some 40 year old, light turns green and we both go. From start to end of first gear we are head to head, but when i shifted to 2 and then to 3rd, i had about a 2 and a half car lead. So i got 2 kills in 1 day. I love the 2nd and 3rd gears on this car it is awesome.
What is it though, everytime im driving, everybody wants to race. I swear one day i will get a ticket.

It's called a Murano (the fake FX), and it's absolutely no match for the G in any possible respect. It's got a CVT that, IMO, steals a lot of the possible joy of the drive. The FX makes the Murano look like an over-hyped minivan...

Yep. Now, if I were looking in that price-range for that type of vehicle, it'd be up there on my list. My only major qualm is the interior styling of the front console. It looks like somewhat of an afterthought... but, to each his own-- a designer and a whole passle of Nissan reps thought it looked good. I personally liked the FX styling better and purchased it. Had I not had quite the budget, though, the Murano would've been looking darn attractive.
