Congratulations, nothing on that car appears to be altered. It's as stock as the day it came from the factory.
Now - Let the Mods begin. Item one - Get rid of the stock 17" wheels.

I am getting excited now and yes, the stock wheels will have to be replaced. I should be in the car by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Looks like a great deal. That is the interior for the 05 and those are the base wheels that come on all G35c from 03-06. Looks like as someone posted earlier a base model G35c with no extra options. As long as it comes up clean under carfax or another reporting agency and you test drive it before closing the deal, definitely a nice price for a low mileage G35c.

Mambo...if you can really get the car for 26.1k, good buy! Enjoy! Keep us updated

Sounds a little too good to be true to me, esp since the guy has no feedback...You really need to do your own Carfax and not rely on their info---otherwise, you got a steal..
I got the Carfax - no problems. The car was bought in May 2005, traded at a dealer auction in Dec 2005, went through another dealer auction and ended up for sale at this Ford dealer in March 2006.
If test drive and inspection are ok then I'm buying it - fingers crossed!

Very suspicious that it went through two dealer auctions in a row. If it wasnt a G35 no big deal but one like this w/ low mileage should have sold.
Beyond that...you still got a lot of warranty left on that car, you can't lose on the deal especially with a clean carfax. Worse case you don't like it you could sell it for the same price or a bit more than you paid, go for it!

That does seem to be an excellent price- how do you make sure it's not a dried-out Katrina special???

The eBay item number is 4632687361 in case the link doesn't work.
I've talked to the dealer and have a contract to buy the car contingent on a final inspection which I'll do on Saturday. The title history shows registration in Palm Beach county in May 2005 and then traded in late in the year. Apparently there's not a scratch on it and otherwise has no problems.
I would love to hear your thoughts. It's way below trade-in value on kbb.com and I am excited about the potential to get such a deal. I wanted the 6MT but couldn't pass up on the price of this one. It is at least the color I wanted.
Anything in particular I should be looking for (apart from the obvious test drive and such) when I go to pick it up on Saturday?
Where in Orlando is the dealer? I'm in Orlando and I can meet you over there. If it's the one on OBT then I'm about 10 min from there.Originally Posted by mambomonster

Good luck wiht it, I just purchased an 05 coupe in fort lauderdale, graphite with grey interior fully loaded,15,000 miles and I love it.........
The dealer is Sun State Ford at 3535 West Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32808. I will be there today at about 2:00 p.m. to test drive it and if ok, take it home. My name is Curtis and I'll be in an older white Jeep Cherokee with a bike rack on the roof.
The autocheck and carfax show no accidents, flood damage, etc.
