parrot blue tooth

Just had it installed yesterday (3000 model). The wife loves it! She hasn't recorded voice yet to send out calls so I don't know how well the voice recognition is. Didn't want the screen type, wanted to keep it discreet.
I bought that HBB1 plug and play harness so it's wired into the stereo; mute and car speakers. Nice..

Hey Mondo - glad you got it installed. What did the installer think of my HBBH-1 harness?

As for voice dialing, which phone do you have? If the phone has voice dialing itself, you shouldn't have to train your Parrot. There is a setting that asks whether voice dialing should be set to PHONE (if your phone has this capability) or PARROT if you want to set up your own key words. On my E815Verizon Mototola phone, I just set my Parrot to PHONE. I can say "Call Fred" or "Call 212-555-1212" - very slick. Here is a pic of the color Parrot in my FX35

I got my wife a razor as the other phone wasn't bluetooth. I'll have to check it out, I think it would be easier to do her phone.
I have a new Pocket PC (verizon) but it doesn't have voice calling; other than that, it's pretty slick. I routinely check in here with it. Got it hooked up as well. This Parrot will recognize 3 phones.

The installer liked it! I gave him my receipt as it had your info on it. I'm sure when he gets another G or Z to do he'll recommend the harness.

Thanks!

I think you will like the Razr phone. With that phone, when you press the green button on the Parrot, it should say "Say a Command". You should be able to say any name in your phone's contact list exactly as it appears. You will say "Call Sally" or "Call Fred and Sally". To dial directly, just say "Call 212-555-1212".

BTW, if anyone else wants to put a bluetooth handsfree kit in their car - CLICK HERE
