So i have been wondering what i actual needed to do for my 30k service...there was a thread on it but i didnt want to try to revive a dead thread so here we are....

I called Infiniti today and the service rep reccomended this stuff for the 30 k service, all the rest of the necesary stuff i can pretty much do:

1. Service manual transmission $110
2. All necesary inspections $45 (1/2 hour labor)
3. Rear Differential $55

My personal list:

1. In cabin filter
2. change oil and filter
3. check brakes

Please add anything else you can think of to the necesary list and make comments about what the service rep told me. Thank you

I might be yelled at for telling you this but I wouldnt worry about any of that crap! I've never done a scheduled maintainance on any of my Hondas and they were always fine! I cant imagine that Infiniti's would really need alot of maintainance either! Personally I would check your brakes and thats about it!

 

you're a fool for bringing it to the stealership for that. you can do it all yourself. plus you won't hav eto worry about them jacking your car.

 

yeh see thats my biggest thing is i feel like a lot of it is a load of crap, i can do most of the stuff myself but for the things i cant do won't it void the warranty?
