M45 ShiftKnob on an Auto. Pictures anyone?

I want to install an M45 **** on my 06 Auto.

Do I need to buy the M45 boot as well?

Is it an easy intall? Is there a DIY anywhere?

Thanks

You talking about the wood shifter or the covered shifter? The one below looks pretty good/upscale. And just from the looks of the boot connector, it looks like it would fit the G35 boot.

Thanks for the pictures. Yes, I would like to do the all leather one.

Is the M45 and the M35 shifter the same?

Here is one from the M45

Wow, I would want to do that. Very interested, but no idea if it is possible.

I think the shifter would fit fine, my only concern would be how to mount the boot on the 05...
