Mrev install gone bad

Just "tried" installing my mrev+ kit today and it was a total failure. I stripped two bolts and the engine is knocking like crazy. Can someone help or give me a reference as to someone that can? I need help ASAP!

problem with a leak. You need to get a reverse drill bit (any hardware store has one). What you do is drill a hole deep enough to hammer the drill bit in and then reverse it out. Be careful not to damage the sides when you drill.. gotta go straight down. Read up on using reverse drill bits or go to the hardware store and ask them how it's done. I actually broke one of my bolts in half and the bit worked well for me. Since your bolt is still actually there, why not try using a clamp and grab those suckers out?

Yes, you need an "Easy Out Kit" for screw/bolt extraction. Any good hardware supply place should carry them. When drilling the easy out tap hole, please be careful and prevent metal shavings from falling into unwanted areas. Good luck! Actually, are the said bolts stripped and in place or have they actually broken off?

In that case . . . Be sure to use the proper sized drill bit for the "easy out" bit. It will either come with the kit or recommend the proper sized drill bit. Go easy when drilling the hole to accept the easy out bit. Once the easy out bit is introduced into the drilled out bolt, you turn in a counter clockwise direction to remove the damaged bolt. This is a very simple procedure. If you are uncomfortable doing this, I would suggest having a friend or someone whom is familiar with this method to help you.

The MREV comes with longer bolts to replace the stock ones to adjust for the spacer. Dont worry about the old bolts! Are you sure you arent talking about the 2 guide pins?

no, dealerships are gay. I went and asked for one and they said they didnt carry the bolt and that I would have to call corporate infinit. WTF? All that for a bolt??

However, performance nissan carries a lot of stock parts for the Z.. which is usually the same part for the G. So i was able to purchase the bolt from them. I paid a hefty $4 for 1 bolt though.. and it took 2 1/2 weeks to arrvie due to "special order" but at least they have em..
