creaks and rattles coming from center console?
Have any of you guys noticed how loose the center console is? If you grab it by the armrest and wiggle it left and right it creaks and moans all sorts of ways...
i've recently been hearing a lot more noises in the cabin going over bumps and i suspect much of it to becoming from the center console.. how is it attached to the floor? It seems so wimpy

If you have an after market exhaust on it you might want to check that out first, i had the same problem and i actually posted something about it yesterday...i didnt get any replys on it but later yesterday i got off work and went home and jacked the car up on some jack stands and got under it and looked around, what it was was one of the "U" bolts that holds the y pipe to the mid pipe was loose, i couldnt twist it with my bare hands but it was that tight i had to get a socket wrench out and really crank it, i took it for a test drive after words and the noise went away...so basiclly i would recommend jacking the car up and getting underneath it and make sure all the bolts are really tight......if you look its very easy for sounds to echo and sound like they are comming up from the concole due to the fact that its hollowed out around that area underneath
