It's like watching a movie with a twisted ending that is usually given away in the beginning of the movie. PayPal does this a lot, refunding the buyer after some so-called "investigation". That is why I always make sure the money in my PayPal is into my bank account before I ship the items I've sold.

dont you have the tracking # ?

Call up paypal and said the buyer already received the product and he also reversed the payment. Paypal might reverse the payment back to you.

Did you try contacting him?? I sold my stock 19's to him and everything went through just fine. He seems like an okay guy. Hopefully, he contacts Paypal and tells them that the sale went through okay so you get paid.

I have a tracking number from USPS but it's not valid anymore, so we'll have to wait and see, I really hope he does the right thing because I'd rather not have take legal actions.

I've sold alot of stuff between this forum, r1-forum, 1000rr.net, and 300cforum, i'vebeen scammed out of $10,000 before so I knowhow it feels...

somebody tried doing this to me on ebay/paypal last month. I sold them a new PSP package with new game.... after he receieved it he made a claim that it wasn't new and it had missing parts. He requested his money back and he would send me back the broken unit.

Paypal found me as the winner in the dispute, because my ebay auction claimed it was new, and i even sold 2 new psp packages a couple days ealier. However the punk gave me a negative rating.

Then a couple weeks after that, the chump makes a ebay listing for a used psp that he claimed he had for months that had missing parts with the same new game that he bought from me.

if you guys get bored, take a look at my ebay account and view the history, then view the history of the chump that tried to scam me. He was an *******, but i still got the money $$.

I guess Sm00thRomancer didn't read the whole thread.

Cliff note: Sm00thRomancer says that the seller scammed him. Turned out that Sm00thRomancer received the Unit AND the refund. The seller has nothing.

Calvin just sent me a PM

"not trying to scam anyone. as i said, i made this claim when you didn't respond to me. i had no choice but to protect myself."

How are you not trying to scam anyone when you have the unit and your money? He made the claim on Monday the 1st, I sold him the unit on friday the 28th...How do you make a claim 3 days later when 2 were weekend days???...and then the claim goes through on the 11th after you recieved the unit on the 4th....SCAMMER!
