Hey guys, a little help here. My G35 needs a new Bose head unit. It has the "normal" problem where the driver's side speakers sound distorted/low when playing cds. I wasn't surprised since my 03 Maxima had the same issue. Went to the dealer and they said they'd order me one. That was 3 to 4 weeks ago and I still haven't heard from them. I called them about a week ago to see what the deal was, and they said they were on back order and that they'd call me when it came in.

I know the Bose headunits are a problem, but should it take that long to get a replacement? How long have you guys waited for the replacement?

good luck.... it took me about 2-3 months to finally get mine installed. haha well part of it was me being lazy, but excluding that they took forever. When they finally got it in they didn't even care to call and set up an appointment to have it installed. I got mine replaced maybe 2 weeks ago... sounds a lot better but i can tell after a little while its gonna start F ing up again. sigh** what can you do? go aftermarket....
