I think people esp in LA are constantly trying to one-up each other, probably when they see another G they get kind of scared that the other person's G is better(more mods) or maybe their bummed because they're really no longer that special - in any case, I agree with trueplay8, people are dumbasses. I try to be friendly with people when I'm mountainbiking as well and sometimes they ignore me so f**k em, i tried...

My other vehicle is a Jeep. Im so used to waving at Jeeps, that I wave to G's every now and then. Sometimes they'll wave back, but more often then not they dont.

A g35 isn't as much of an enthusiasts car as say, a Vette, WRX STI or an EVO. While most people on here are going to be a big G35 fan, most of the public bought the car to use as transportation and nothing more.

I'm sure if you only give thumbs up to obviously modded G35s, you'd have better results.

I like to give a courtesy honk or a nod and a smile. It depends thou, sometimes I see these middle aged men drivin it and they just tend to stare and its annoying. One time I was washin the G at the car wash and was on line next to a white G and told her she had a nice car which instantly sparked a nice little convo.

When I see another G, I'm usually in my other car. I always get ready to wave, then remember I'm in the other car. When I do drive the G, I rarely see another one.

WTF is the problem.............?

I know there's some really nice coupes in my area
like Will at Longs in Valencia and a few others. But
the ones I usually see on the street have PepBoys
wheels and POS exhaust from some muffler shop in
San Fernando. Those guys are to ashamed to wave
when the see my G. Or maybe it's because I'm an
FOP and they can't be bothered. FOP is my abrev
for f**king old person..............

Every time I drive up to or beside another G or Z, I try to take a quick look to see if the other driver has noticed. If not, then I just continue going my way. If they pay attention, then I roll down my window to share a few compliments. Also, I'm extra specially nice to other G's or Z's on the road when they need to merge/change lanes. I guess I feel a comradery amongst them, regardless of whether or not they notice me in traffic.
