I have paying paying attention to everyone who has posted on the 04's. When the first ones hit CA a couple of weeks ago, I called the dealer to find out where my car was. The response was that it would be here in October. I know all the first 04's were TB. Last week I saw someone post their 04' DG came in. Again, I called the dealer for a status. His response was that he thought it might make it by the end of the month. Today, I had a missed call from my dealer on my cell phone. I decided to stop by the dealer this afternoon. I couldn't find the fleet rep I ordered from. I went into the showroom and asked if they could get me a track and the response was the car was already there. It already had mud guards and a tint put on it. I will be picking it up Monday or Tuesday. The really interesting thing was that the dealer never got notification that the vin number was ever issued. They were supposed to get it when the car went out to sea.

My order was an "S". It was actually the first car ordered in Dallas as an 04'.

I was already at the G35 owners club meet and the last couple Z club meets. I just didn't have my car.

You know what? The Black really does show up every little hairline scratch, and looks terrible if I drove it in the rain. But it is really worth it to me. I honestly couldn't have this car in any other color. Black is my favorite color, it suits me (as a person) best, and I think the G35C looks stunning in black (although I do love to see G35C's in other colors, as well). As long as I keep my G35C clean, I am a very satisfied black G35C owner.
