12 is pretty good for 30% spirited driving.

I usually fill up the tank when the E lights up... It usually takes about 16 gallons when I fill up and I always reset the odometer and always drive 240 miles... so then i get 15MPG... ok i guess cuz I do some spirited driving during the day... cant help myself flooring it every now and then...

i get 11mpg consistantly 100% city...our cars just SUCKK when it comes to city driving. However on the highway i get low to mid 20s so on average i would say i get about 15-16 mpg mostly (80%) spirited driving

330 miles per tank consistently now. I have 3780 miles on my ‘06 so far, so you would have to feather the gas pedal a lot to get past the 300 miles it seems.

Just learned that in holds up to 20gallons of fuel, might have to test how far I really can drive now.

Yep 240-260 miles at best use to get 420 on a full tank of gas when the car was new. It started going downhill when I pass 15k miles. Resetting the computer doesn't do squat for gas mileage. Even did injector cleaner, gas additives to clean the valves nothing not a damn change in mileage. I guess this is the price we pay for having fun while on the road.

I actually did a small test (Start with full tank and drive until light turns on):
Tank1 - All city driving..drove like a grandma.
Tank 2 - All city driving...drove it like I stole it. Actually peeled out of the gas station and left some rubber behind for a good start to the tank.

Tank 1 I got about 120Km more...~70 miles. There is no doubt that driving the G hard makes a big difference as to how much fuel you use up.
We all have to make a choice every time we get in...save a few bucks and drive miss daisy or tear it up and stop at a gas station on the way home.

Pig for gas

My car is getting about 14.5 MPG driving it like a grandma due to rising gas prices. My car has 23 K miles on it. Thinking of trading it in every time I feel it up, but no other cars look any better for the price. What car would you get if you had a choice of most economical with good looks. Please don't say the Prius.

I fill in about 17 gal when the light goes on and and almost always get 400+ miles out of my tank. I've got a 05 and put on about 25k on it already. All the maintenance is done (well I still need the change the air filter), Tire's kept at 34psi.

I mainly drive it 70% easy, and 30% spirited. I have searched this site and found little as to what to check to improve gas mileage. The car has 40,000 miles and I always put 93 octane in it. Also, it is completely stock, no mods have been done to it. Any idea what I can check to try and improve gas mileage. Worse thing is that there is no local Infiniti dealership around here, and the Nissan dealerships wont touch it...

Please help!

Get AEM CAI and Plenum spacer; I'm getting 24-26 average and drive spirited daily; I have gotten as high as 28MPG on a 600 mile trip last month.

04.5 6MT Prem pack, AEM CAI, Skunk2 5\8in. plenum spacer, Shell V-power 93 octain fuel - no other mods

its funny, i drive like nascar most of the time, but their are times especially late at night when comin home on the highway i just sit back and cruise in 6th. i fill up 1 time a week and always get about 350 to 400 miles per tank, when i say nascar i like making my tires chirp through 1st and second gear going into third,. do you guys take your car up to 150 everyday or something to be getting such low mileage?

I have a 06 5at sedan (no mods). On my daily trip to work, I set the cruise at 70 and never lift it until 3 miles from work. Same for coming home. I have been getting 360-380 miles and filling up 16-17 gallons. Thats around 21-22 mpg. Even when I put my foot in it, I still get around 19. If your car doesn't have mods, then you might needs some maintenance. Check you air filter and gas quailty.

Turn off the AC will improve your mpg a little.
