It really depends on how much you wanna spend on new pads, for instance I just purchased nismo pads for my front for $130, the rears still have some meat on them but I will change them eventually. Now you said you need new pads at 18k miles? and they're non-brembo? that doesn't seem right unless you brake the hell outta that thing everytime you ride. and your rears prolly will last a lot longer than the fronts. BTW did I mention I am on 56k miles and counting on my rears, I doubt you need need new ones for your rears but what do I know.

I have 28K and I'm on my 3rd set of pads. But I have an 03 5AT with the brake warranty. I can see needing new pads at 18k. Try everythingg35.com they have an assortment of brake pads for you to choose.

I just bought my '03 sedan and my brakes squeak when I back up. 300 dollars sounds very expensive for a brake job. Can you not buy ceramic pads from Autozone? It only cost me $100 for all 4 wheels on my Accord and they came with a lifetime warranty.
