i know it says 160 on the odom. but does that governers chip limit us to a slower speed?

what governers chip? Never heard of it...what is it?

 

its a limiter thats put on most cars usually cars cannot exceed an X MPH

 

Most car companys put a governer on there cars and limit them to like 155 or something like that.

fastest ive gone in my G is 142...havent found enough straight road to stretch it all the way out + if you get caught at that speed you can kiss your license goodbye.

Is there anyone who has removed the limiter and gotten above 150? I feel like the car stops pulling at 140...

hit the limiter its around 157 or so pretty scary but def had two hands on the wheel the whole time`

Stupid government wants control of everything. Is there a way to remove this? Is it hard? And if we did remove it, then would that make our g's go past 160 or what?

oh crap so your saying that a c6 z06 cant go reach 200 mph (well atleast around 190+) due to this chip?
