I was wondering if anyone had any pics or links to some G35 coupes with some lip kits...or if any one had a pic with the factory lip kit....just i am in the market for a all around lip kit....just that the veilside is not my "coupe" of tea....hehe...(so lame)

 

nismo makes a front lip that is pritty cool umm stillin does also. try http://www.i-m-racing.com/ then infiniti then g35 and there are sevril good body kits there and lips and other goodies. let us know what u choose. I personly like the nismo but what ever floats ur G. (im lame 2)

 

cool...thanks...i think i am going to go with the nismo....but i wont buy until i see some more picures of it...the ones that they have on the site are too small and too dark. I just dont want to wander too far from the G'z original look....we may be lame, but hey we are still driving Skyline 350 GTs !!

 

I've noticed that the factory front lip as well as the splash guards compliment each other well. If you just get the front lip or splash guards, it looks wierd to me.

yea i saw a G here in cali, that just had splash guards...and it looked funky, but i saw one with both and the deck wing....whooowee! it looked clean...i just dont want to pay the factories Bull $4!& price for the lip, they tried charging me 1,000 for a freakin front lip, and thats it....im sorry, but i wanted smack him...cuz when they try to rip you off, it insults me. But do you happen to have a pic of the factory front lip...i wanna do some photoshopping?? thanks

 

There are many threads on the lip thing but here is a picture of the stock one. IMO it looks the best. Word at grubbs (as of 9/15/2003) is that you should be able to order the lip alone starting in November. The cost estimate ranges from $360-$560 plus about $90 labor (1hr) to install. Unfortunatley the pic is not of my car, but of another G35driver.com member - my dealer messed up my order and missed including it - ARRRGGGGH!!!!

So 350-$500 is the estimated abount for the lip?? and this is from the dealer so i am thinking that it will come painted and ready to just need to be installed? Oh yea thanks for the pick bro! : )

 

i know, but the infiniti dealer here in fresno is full of it....they over price there stuff,... i first purchased the deck wing...the stock aero rear spoiler...they wanted $970.00...at first i was gonna pay...until i woke up and slapped myself!

 

front lip cost $580 total including tax from my dealership...BUT.. always a but.. a month ago. nissan/infin. had the front lip on sales restriction according to ray catena who is the largest dealer around.. which is 5 mins from home. i paid for it in for the was told they can not get it.. it comes painted as well. i think its about 560 then add tax. i jus ordered the stillen front lip but still have not received it..

My salesman couldn't recall the exact price for the lip but he said he remembered it was in the $550 ballpark (he offered to look it up but I told him not to bother) so I figure it's about the same price as the factory rear spoiler from a dealer. No way will I pay that much for that little sliver of fiberglass! I got my rear spoiler online for $160 painted and had it installed for another $70. I can't tell the difference between it and the factory one. I've decided to just go without the lip unless I can get it for about $200 or under (painted). I figure that since the front lip is much less noticable than the rear wing, why should I pay more for the lip. I have wondered why are there no after-market (factory style) front lips available. It's not like it would cost more to produce than the wing, there's not even a light! Oh well.
