Yeah, it really is. I've seen Mercedes seat wrinkle too (although to a lesser extent). Like all else said, it's leather and it wrinkles. Hell, even my leather jackets (which costs more then these seats) wrinkles. I guess it is a trade-off. If they put really hard leather that won't wrinkle, it would most like crack instead. Oh, the service guy said when it cracks, bring it on by and we'll fix it. I guess we'll see.

I'm pretty sure they won't replace it for wrinkles under warranty, though actual cracking may be covered. The dealership mechanics accidentally punctured my wife's driver seat when we had it in for an oil change (???) about a year ago, so they replaced it. Of course that's a lot different...

I have the creases too and I wanted to find a way to at least slow down the wearing of the leather. I get in and out the same way, it's a little hard to explain but I'll try and you guys can try it. What I do when I get in is I stick my right leg in under the steering column, have my right hand on top of the steering wheel, and then put my left hand on the door sill. My left hand basically holds my weight where I can slide over and into my seat.

When I get out, I do the opposite. Left hand at the bottom at the door sill and I can hold my weight to slide up over the seat. I'm trying to get in the habit of doing this everytime. Sounds complicated but really isn't. Let me know if this works for anyone.

Yeah, its inevitable. I'm only 5'4" and 140 lbs and my seat is getting all wrinkled.
Now that we're on it, has anyone noticed foam dust falling from underneath the seat? I dunno if this has to do with our hot weather, but its annoying and will end up wasting it up more. I have to vacuum the pieces with a very thin vacuum attachment...

I think its part the leather and part the seat design; It almost forces you to crush the side bolster every time you get in and out. Everyone fails trying to put this under warranty since its considered wear and tear.

It does help if you treat it regularly with leather products.

Yeah, reason I wouldn't want cloth is instead of getting wrinkles, you would get bare spots where you would rub the cloth getting in-and-out. Had cloth and wouldn't get it again. Also, kinda ruin the Luxury feel don't you think?

I have it too and I'm little! I also had some staining on my Wheat interior from various leather jackets and skirts. The care forum fixed that.

As stated above, it's a trade off. If that's the only complaint I have, life's waaaay to short and there's too many roads to drive to worry about it. It is a bit frustrating, given the detailed care most of us give our cars. It would be interesting to see if there's something that can be done under warranty.

I don't lose sleep over it, but it does hit my mind sometimes when I'm getting out of the car and catch myself just sitting and rotating on that left buttom portion for a second.

I need to apply some leather conditioner asap.

At 53,000KM the passenger seats still look brand new. There's a couple wrinkles on the drivers seat kinda towards the seat controls. I don't think I caused it!

I've had the car since 45,000KM so I don't know how it was treated before that. I've been using the Armor All Leather Care Protectant. I apply it every 2 or three months. It certainly makes the seats the feel a little newer but I don't know if it will help in the long run.
