Has anyone bought these?

Do you come forward enough to be worth it?

Are these the same item?

Thumbs up

That's the first time I've seen a good picture of what they really do. That looks really "Sporty". I LIKE it!

It's just so expensive though, you know...It will be on my "wish list" for sure.

Ironically, I was thinking about my headrest today: Do people actually rest their heads against them while they are driving?

Don't they only come in handy when you are waiting for your wife or in an accident (often similar experiences)?

$160+ is some serious coin for a headrest, IMHO.

I actually went to my dealer and took a headrest out of an 06 M45 and put it in the G, it looked way better. I was going to order some from the dealer, but if these are really OEM, then this might actually save me some $. Will see what the dealer charges.

In city driving, no.
On the highway with the cruise control on, yes.
The lighting is bad in this picture so the color looks off, They actualy match perfectly. (wheat=Ecru)
You can see how the drivers side head rest is taller. When tilted forward they stick out farther, meet the back of your head and are very cushiony.

I think I got them from EverythingG35.com but it looks like they raised the price. Grubbs has the same one's.
It say's OEM on their site. The only difference I noted is when you look into the car from the rear window, your head rests are higher.

Nope.
For me it was just a matter of comfort.
Everybody seems to fit into the G seats differently. The originals just did not reach the back of my head.

It's a lot of money, but it made me happy.
