everythingg35 Upgraded Headrest ?? Anyone
#16
As far as know, my head rest has a built in "air bag" that pushes it forward during the accident to reduce head back motion.
The adjustable one will make me fall asleep by the wheel.
Please do not mix-up G with M. Two different cars, two different driving styles. Particularly when my G is a coupe.
Useless and dangerous. Maybe for passengers, not for a driver.

It is designed to be a pure GT car. To get you from point A to a distant point B quickly AND comfortably.
By your logic, you may as well remove all the padding in your seats since that all that luxury you enjoy is putting you to sleep. In reality, allowing your head to get some support keeps you comfortable and alert longer, thereby making your driving safer.
As far as airbags go, there are none in the headrest.
I don't know about active compatibility, but I believe the new ones offer the same design that the M45 features- since that is where these come from (they come in Nissan boxes)
