3.5 Engine evolution

I've been searching, but couldn't find what specific changes were made from the 2004 model year to the 2005 year that made the HP go from 280 to 298 and the torque go from 270 to 260? Thanks

I think it was mainly an ECU reflash, and another couple of minor things.

so could a 2003 drive into a dealership and get "flashed up" to a 2005 to get the extra horsepower.... and still keep the factory warranty?

There is more to it than that. The Rev up motor has a different plenum and variable valve timing intake and exhaust and a 7K redline.

I knew I was forgeting a couple of things. Thanks

You could though get the MREV+ and/or plenum spacer to make up for some of the HP difference.
The TQ however was lower for the 05+ I think, somebody correct me if i'm wrong.
