Hey guys, I just bought my 03 g35 couple 6mt, with 31k miles last week, and already I am having problems. After the car was running--both for a short time or longer time--has problems starting again. When I turn the key, all I hear is like...metal fan blades scraping against something, but then engine itself does not crank... possibly the starter? Could it be the battery does not have enough cranking power? After a couple attempts, the car usually starts up. This happens about 85% of the time. When cold, it happens maybe 40% of the time. Did anybody else experience this problem, service bulletins, etc.?
I called Infiniti, but told me that I have to wait 12 days before they can fit me in, and have to wait 2 1/2 weeks for a loaner if I wanted one. I hope that I didn't inherit somebody elses problem.
