key hole surrounding???
key hole surrounding???
well my g's piece that surrounds the key hole on the drivers side fell off. i was wondering if it has happend to anyone else and what they did? better yet would i be able to get another one like the passenger side that does not have any key hole?

yea, btw i was ordering one on the riverside infiniti site and i did not see an option to choose which color. i think i will just order and pick it up from my local dealer so i dont have to pay shipping.

No, just remove the cover and install the new one over you key hole in the event you ever need to use your key. It pops off in 2 seconds.

LOL don't get me started on this. Last year, after owning my car for a few months the ****er just came off. I ended up having to drive across the city about 5-7 times to get the thing replaced and put back on each time. It kept falling off. The last time they even resorted to taking the whole door apart, giving me a whole new lock and re-doing the handle. Guess what? It fell off that night when I got the car back. I was walking to my car and noticed it was hanging off so I just took it off and put it in my car. I went to a friends body shop and they just 40-40'd it on to the door and it hasn't budged since. I now have an extra one in my car though, hahaha.
A little while later, the passenger one fell off but that was just because a screw came loose and that was able to go on without a problem.
