Blowoff valve like sound when shifting?

Does anyone else have this sound occur when shifting into 2nd off the line in 1st n 2nd gear around 4-6k? its identical to a blow off valve noise in a turbo charged car just want to know if others have the same sound. I have an automatic.

I had a similar noise in my coupe a few months ago.... as the exhaust would wind down, it would sound like a bov. Turned out I didnt have the plenum torqued down properly, and air was rushing out when the pressure got funky. Ciggarretes are awesome leak checkers =)

Are you running an audio device through the RCA inputs?

Is the sound coming through the speakers?

If the sound is coming through the speakers, there could be an insulation problem for a power cable.

Could you be explicit when describing the "blow off" when, where, how

i believe i have the same problem. when i rev to about 4-6k i hear some like awkward noise. sounds like theres a vacume for those 2 rpm its just not the low roar but like an empty sound. i was wondering if its still because its new and waiting for the gaskets to get sealed? btw my sunroof rubber thing fell off yesterday >=( now i have to go get that fixed.

Get your wife/girlfriend/friend to ride in the trunk with a tape recorder - preferably ALL at the same time.
