Nope, No Big Diffrences! Think only the I-Pod Interface is the only real big change. It's better in the 08 versus the 07's. And I think you lose some Voice Commands in the 08 versus the 07's. and a recalibrated ECU so the throttle is not so abrupt! unlike the 07's without the Reflash. Hope that helps!

I have an 07 G35S and my brother just bought the 08 G35S. Here are the differences I noticed:

1. Audio system in the 08 has the "Driver Audio Stage" feature that makes it seem like the driver is the center of the "surround" sound

2. The 08 now only has one of those white little ambient lights on the dome instead of 2

3. The 08 has the integrated ipod system like 808Mike stated above

...and yeah that's pretty much all I noticed. Other than that it's pretty much the same everywhere else.

I recently purchased an '08 G35. For the most part I'm quite happy with the car. A big difference between the '07 & '08’s (at least the newer '08's, some '08's still have the good system) is the Voice Recognition system was greatly downgraded. The '08 Owners Manual ref's these functions as the '08 test models (at least the 1's I drove) & the sales staff still demonstrate these functions that Infiniti (stupidly) decided to downgrade (deactivate). So for I'm VERY disappointed in the customer "NO" service provided by Infiniti. I've posted a thread and there are multiple others ref. this issue. Good Luck!

One other thing about the 08 - The rear view camera is included w/ the 08's nav package. In the 07, you had to buy the tech pkg to get the rear view camera.

We are now so far into the 08 model year (08s have been available since mid September 2007), plus the fact that 08s can be purchased for around invoice price in certain areas like Southern California, if you choose the 07, the dealership better be giving you a ridiculously good deal.

XM is also standard on all 08 G35s. With the 07's, you could get sirius/xm as a $300 option or if you got the nav package, xm was included.

If you purchase the 08 in 6 speed trim it has a revised clutch and less vibration through the shifter.

Cool

I just bought my new 08 g35xS, very sexy. It is basically the same as 07 but the pedal is not as sensitive but its not as bad as some people say it is, i really like it. The 08 has the g35 with paddles and an 18 inch rim as well which is wrapped with dunlops. I love it, Hope that helps

I didn't know about this until now, but you can no longer get a RWD G35 Sport with a 5AT like you could for the 07 MY. You can only get a 5AT G35 Sport in AWD. I had no idea. Basically, my car isn't available for 08. What's up with that?

For 2008, you can get a RWD G35 Journey with Sport Package. That gives you 5AT, paddle shifters, foot operated parking brake and all of the regular G35 Sport 6MT standard equipment.

By the way, love that pic and your page with our happy Garnet Owners. I've recently joined the club with a Journey 5AT with Premium Package in Garnet Ember.

you can. The only difference is that you have to buy a G35 Journey with the sports package to get an automatic

Still not the same as 07 G35S. With the 08 Journey and sport package, you still don't get the VLSD and larger brakes.

http://www.infinitihelp.com/Infiniti...ifications.htm

From looking at that site, you do get them. However on the G35xS you dont get the VLAD or the larger brakes

Hmm, that contradicts what Infiniti.com is indicating.

EDIT: I was misreading something on Infiniti.com......I am an idiot.

Thanks bro. Don't forget to post up some pics of your new ride in the GE color thread.
