I have Nitto 555's 275/30/20 in the rear and they are a little stretched on a 20x10. We tried a 285/30 Pilot sport and it would not fit. I have about 2-3mm.

6mtpnut's car is so sweet. I love that Sportec front end.

Is your sedan lowered TTrank? I see you have 275/30/20 in the rear. I have some questions.

What are you running up front for tire size?

Whats the offsets of your rims front and back.

And can you post some pics of your ride?

Thanks in advance!!

Yes it is lowered with H&R springs (1.2F, 1.0R)
Front wheels are 20x8.5 with 245/35's
Front offset is +20 but I don't believe it because there is not much of a lip on them. I would bet it is more like a +35. The offset is not marked on them for some reason and Zenetti only lists a +20. Maybe it is??
Rear offset is +43 and with the fenders rolled I could not fit more than a +40, they are very close. We tried a 285/30 and it was not even close to fitting.

Here are some older pics.
I changed the tail lights to the 05's with the bluebatmobile GTR tinted overlays but I don't have a picture yet.

The side pic has the old rear wheels which were also 8.5's not 10's.

Thanks Ttrank,

I'm looking at getting a rim with a 4" lip on 20" rims. I know this is not an easy find. I want the Axis Penta's which are available in 20X9 front and 20X10 rear with 4 1/4" lip. But I don't think 20X9 fits the front of sedans. Do you know if anybody has Axis Penta's in 20" for sedan.

It would depend on the offset and tire used.
I bet you could fit a 9" front as long as you don't go too low or use wider than a 245/35 in the front. As for the rears it also depends on the offset. You can get a wheel with that kind of lip, it just depends on the spoke style.

Just because the sport is growing, doesn't mean making an easily oversteering car a good thing. Exactly why would I even want to "handle" an oversteering car, when I can just handle a neutral car? I don't get the logic.

If oversteer is the objective, why are you putting the fattest wheel/tire on the rear anyway? That promotes understeer.

NASCAR is one of the most popular motosport in the USA right now. But I'm not out there staggering my tire size (left/right) to make the car turn left any easier.
Side note... I hate NASCAR with a passion, I dunno why people are so crazy with car going in straight lines and with a single kind of turn...

I guess if you are interested at NASCAR, you shouldn't be on an import car forum.. we are talking about refinement or skills here.. not raw power or american muscle, "IMO".

Moreover, stretching the tire really has its own application as opposed to what you have said as unwise or whatever, even though I wouldn't do it myself cause I do some spirited driving all the time... + tracking

can anyone tell me if a 10.5" wheel will fit in the rear of a sedan with a +30 offset?

Wouldn't work unless you have some bodywork with rolled fenders or even a widebody kit....

Even rolled fenders wouldn't help.

I beleive that would work. Worst case you would have to roll your fenders but they will fit.

I was reading that thread based on the chart THX723 put together and I didn't see anyone running a bigger offset (smaller number, if i understand this correctly) than +38 up front.

I don't have a big drop, just the 350z springs.
